• Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) only: Though AC1900 is still quite fast, newer Wi-Fi 6 / 6E routers/mesh systems offer better performance, lower latency, improved efficiency under heavy load, and future-proofing.

• Wireless mesh backhaul has bandwidth trade-offs: If you rely solely on wireless linking between nodes (i.e. no Ethernet backhaul), the total effective bandwidth can drop — especially under high load or if nodes are far apart / separated by walls.
